I’ve named this electronic device "FORD’S LINE" because
of the resemblance with the assembly line which provided higher productivity
in factories.
The aim of this device is to lift up the efficiency of
the night on-duty medical service in hospitals.
Ford’s line provides the hospitalized patients with an
extremely quick intervention during the night if they require it. Other
patients are not disturbed by calls like that, and the device measures
the time elapsed between the call and the arrival of the nurse on duty.
All this data is fed to the hospital’s executive’s monitor
where the whole activity of the night shift can be monitored.
With this kind of data, the discipline and the quality
of the night shift can be lifted up to the highest level.
